Free Tax Preparation
Households with incomes of less than $49,000 (for 2009) qualify for free tax preparation and possibly for the Earned Income Tax Credit. Those services are available at our Prosperity Centers at at IRS VITA sites in Miami-Dade and Broward counties from January through April.

The Prosperity Campaign's Prosperity Centers offer a variety of services including free tax preparation, economic benefits counseling, homeownership counseling, financial coaching and credit repair. Services are available in English, Spanish and Creole. Call each Prosperity Center (or visit their Website) for details.
Also, find out if you are eligible for the Earned Income Tax Credit (EITC). The Earned Income Tax Credit (EITC) is a tax credit for people who have earned income in 2009 under $49,000. A tax credit usually means more money in your pocket. It reduces the amount of tax you owe. Learn more
